Take a Bite Out of Vampire Academy

       I think Richelle Mead wrote Vampire Academy and the rest of the books in the series to show friendship and love.Richelle is probably trying to say that though Lissa is a  Moroi princess and Rose is a Dhampir,they're still best friends even though they're two different people.So opposites attract.Rose is very protective of Lissa because 
1) she's a Moroi princess and 
2) she's trying to protect her from the Strigoi.Ever since Lissa's family died,Rose has been there for her.Taking care of Lissa and risking her life for her.
